I’m looking for sewists to test our upcoming sewing pattern—the Madeline Dress! This square-neck dress embodies romantic style, featuring a semi-fitted bodice, a lightly gathered, flowy skirt, and button-down details.

Tester Requirements:
- Have experience sewing garments and be willing to provide detailed feedback.
- Be able to complete the test sew within the given timeframe and submit feedback by 4/7/2025 (~2 weeks testing time)
- Provide clear photos of the finished dress on a person, and be ok for me to use your photo for marketing(no social promotion required from testers)
You’ll Receive:
While this is an unpaid opportunity, testers who complete the process will receive a free copy of the final pattern at launch as a token of my appreciation!
Commitment:
I truly appreciate your time and effort! If you sign up, please make sure you can commit to completing the test within the deadline. Since we rely on our testers to finalize the pattern, those who do not complete the test or communicate during the process may not be considered for future opportunities.
Pattern Details:
- Size Range: US 0–18 (32”–45” bust)
- Sewing Difficulty: Intermediate or adventurous beginner. A step-by-step video tutorial will be provided.
- Fabric & Notions: Light to medium-weight woven fabrics. Requires 2.5–3 yards (55–60” wide), plus interfacing and 10–12 buttons.
